Moodle House Support Services Moodle House offers two options for Moodle support: Option 1 - Hourly Support: Moodle House services your Moodle applications at an hourly rate. For remote repairs, service and support, we charge $90CAD per hour plus 7% GST (minimum one hour and billed in 15 minute increments thereafter). For on-site repairs, service and support, we charge $120CAD per hour plus 7% GST plus travel time and any travel expenses (minimum two hours and billed in 15 minute increments thereafter). Response times may vary depending upon our workload, and weekend access may be required for on-site visits. After an examination of the problem, it may be possible to provide an estimate. However, time overruns may still occur based upon the nature of the problem, hosting configurations, the Moodle installation and other extenuating circumstances. Option 2 - Fixed Support Contracts: Moodle House can offer your organization a fixed support contract on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis. The standard contract involves problem notification by email. To begin, the client purchases a contract of a certain value and duration. They are then entitled to priority support from us based on upon our Hourly Support rates (listed above) until the value of the contract has been used up or the contract period comes to an end. We start to work on the problem as soon as we begin communicating with the client via email or telephone. Some of the value of the service contract will go towards this initial communication. Eventually, the contract period will come to an end or all of the hours will be used up. The client will then have the option to renew their contract or "top up" their hours. One-year contracts may be provided at a discounted rate depending upon the number of hours purchased. Travel time and any travel expenses associated with on-site visits are charged separately from the fixed contract. Wherever possible, we will try to find solutions through remote access.
